This Privacy Policy describes how FixThatPothole, operated by Pothole Pros (“FixThatPothole,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services.

1. Information We Collect

  • Report information: photos, GPS location or address, and optional notes submitted when reporting a pothole.
  • Contact information: name, email address, and phone number, if provided.
  • Account information: for Technicians and Account Holders, including certification and equipment details, property or road network boundaries, and billing details.
  • Job data: time-stamped before and after repair photos, GPS coordinates, and device information used to verify completed repairs.
  • Payment information: processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our own servers.
  • Usage data: basic website analytics, such as pages visited and general device/browser information.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Operate the reporting, job-claiming, and billing flow between Reporters, Technicians, and Account Holders
  • Verify that repairs were completed at the reported location within an expected timeframe
  • Process payments and payouts
  • Communicate with you about reports, jobs, billing, or account activity
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Service
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

  • With Technicians, so they can locate and complete a claimed repair job
  • With Account Holders, so they can see the status of reports and repairs on their properties or road networks
  • With service providers who help us operate the Service, such as our payment processor (Stripe), cloud hosting, and database providers, under appropriate confidentiality obligations
  • When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FixThatPothole, our users, or the public

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain report, job, and account information for as long as needed to operate the Service, satisfy legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account information as described below, subject to records we are required to keep.

5. Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at info@fixthatpothole.com. Reporters may submit a pothole report without providing contact information, though doing so may limit our ability to follow up about that report.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information submitted through the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
